Here is Sooty now in Belgium ,  She took a liking to the fountain in Josephine’s garden, fortunately it didn’t have any water in it !

Five more Galgos leave Cadiz for Brussels  

On 2^nd May, Nadine from Greyhounds Rescue Belgium flew to Malaga to pick up Sandy, Pebbles, Bambi, Sooty and Honey from Alpha boarding kennels, near to the US Naval Base in the port of Rota.

April and Paul at the kennels took these five galgos from a local galguero who no longer wanted them.  They organized for the dogs to be tested for Mediterranean diseases and then arranged for them to be sterilized ready for their eventual transportation to homes in Belgium . 

We are grateful to Paul for transporting the dogs to the airport, and to Brussels Airlines for once again letting them travel free to Brussels , and to Josephine and Greyhounds Rescue Belgium for finding homes for them.
