We work closely with Balbino and his team at the Arca de Noe refuge in Albacete (www.ibichos.com). Many of the dogs we are able to help rehome to Belgium, France, Germany and Italy come from Albacete and the nearby Cuenca refuge.
A lot of improvements have been carried out at the refuge over the last year. Many of you will remember that we were able to donate, along with UK Dogs Trust and Northshore UK, some 3,000 Euros enabling Balbino and his team to purchase a new generator. This was a much appreciated piece of equipment vital to Arca De Noe who house over 300 cats and dogs on this large site.
We have recently been able to make a further small donation towards their modernisation work. The photos here, taken during and after construction, show the improvements that have been made to the refuge, including a small operating room on site. Balbino says that they are still painting …….!
