Romulo at Pep's kennels in Vic.

News of Romulo

Regular visitors to our website will no doubt have seen the photograph of Romulo at Pep’s kennels in Vic. He came to Vic from Almendralejo where Mada rescued him and asked if we could help. Many dogs have come and gone from the site but Romulo has remained. He can be a dominant dog and there were problems at the kennels so finding someone to take him on and find him a home has taken longer than normal. Pep and Pilar have been looking after him and giving us progress reports so we were very pleased when Josephine agreed to try and find him a home in Belgium

His flight from Barcelona was booked for 9^th May thanks to Brussels Airlines but on the day, at the last minute, he could not go in the hold of the plane as there was no heating, instead he was treated as a Very Important Dog and travelled in the cabin, in his own crate, taking up 2 seats!

The photographs on this page show his journey and we hope soon for a happy ending to this story with Romulo finding a home in Belgium
