A Visit to the Arca de Noe refuge in Albacete

Our co-operation with Elisa and Chiara of the Greyhound Adopt Centre Italy (GACI) and Balbino, Maria and Evagrio of the Arca de Noe refuge in Albacete enabled over 80 galgos to be rehomed in Italy and Slovenia last year. It is wonderful that new opportunities present themselves for the galgos. We receive lovely photographs and news on these dogs settling in with their new families. Already another transport to Modena is planned for next month.    See all the current Albacete dogs...

Recently members of GACI visited Albacete for the first time. They were able to meet many of the volunteers at the Arca de Noe refuge and clinic and see the building work that has been carried out at the refuge over recent months. Also they could meet and get to know  the dogs who will be on their next transport. Here you can see their report of the visit.
