New arrivals in Italy meeting their new families

April transportations

April has been another busy month with many galgos coming into the kennels in  Barcelona and Cadiz  from Albacete, Almendralejo, Cuenca, Murcia and Sevilla  and many leaving for homes in Belgium,  Italy and Switzerland.  It’s amazing the journeys that some of these galgos make but you just have to look at the photos here to see that it is all worth it.

Josephine and Nadine of Greyhounds Rescue Belgium have made several flights to  Alicante and Malaga to collect Capuchino, Sagra, Ken, Barbie, Onyx, Luis, Auriola, Finoli, Trompeta, Muneca, Galeote and Anais.

Thanks again to Balbino and his team in Albacete for organizing the veterinary care of another 18 galgos for homing by Elisa and Chiara of the Greyhound Adopt Centre Italy (GACI).

We are very pleased that we have been able to send some galgos to Switzerland for homing, thanks to Manuela and her helpers  (Levriers Swiss Adoptions). They went to Vic at the end of April to to collect Duna, Lucas, Pimenta, Azafran, Praga and Anis.

More trips are already being planned to Belgium, France and Italy.
