Fundraising news

The first six months of the year have again been busy for GIN supporters up and down the country organising and attending events to raise funds and awareness of the work of the charity.

Sue, Penny and supporters have been busy at the shop and have also managed to organise several street collections in Ringwood and Dorchester. They are always in  need of more helpers, if you feel you could help with these collections in the future please give Esme (01305 262320) or Sue (01202 513000) a call, they will be pleased to hear from you.

The monthly walks in Dorset, organized by Keith and Mollie, are very popular. Details can be found on our walks page. The next walk will be on July 18th. Photos taken at the Annual Hengistbury Head walk can be viewed here

On 5th June the Bournemouth shop celebrated 10 years of successful fundraising. Our thanks go to Sue, Penny and their volunteers for organising this celebration and for all their hard work throughout the year.

Sue, Phil and Carol have very few weekends free as they receive more and more invites to attend events in and around the Cheshire area. They have a great group of volunteers who come along with their dogs and lend their support and help with manning the stalls and talking to the public.

Sue and Les in Worcestershire continue to do well with their car boot sales and street and store collections, again if you can help in the future please give Sue a ring on 01527 869395.

Rita is still busy with GIN stalls in and around the Sussex area.   She could always do with some more helpers so if you can spare an hour or two please give her a call on – 01323 833652. Next event in Sussex is the Saltdean Gala, 12noon – 4pm – Christine at the Brighton shop – 01273 674100 has more details.

Christine and her volunteers at the Brighton shop will be celebrating their first year of successful trading in Kemp Town next month!

Sue Sarney and her family and friends have been manning GIN stands at events in the Binfield area. They had a very successful two days at the annual Hurst Show with lots of visitors to the stall and as ever the GIN dog house was a popular attraction!

The GIN HQ Team have been busy with local fairs and the annual GIN picnic in Virginia Water. Next event will be the Egham Show on 28th August.
