Trustees – Hail and Farewell

There have been three recent changes to our board of trustees.

Liz Mason

Liz Mason was one of the founding trustees of GIN and has given many years of devoted service to the cause. In the early days of the charity she worked closely with our founder Anne Finch helping with collecting greyhounds from Calais, homechecking and much other work. Liz now lives in Blackpool and finds it more and more difficult to attend trustee meetings. This has led to her decision to stand down as a trustee. She leaves with our grateful thanks for all her work.

Geoffrey Levy

We are delighted that our long serving Treasurer, Geoffrey has agreed to become a trustee. I am glad to say that he will continue to look after our accounts and to advise the trustees on financial matters.

Christine Goodwin

Christine lives close to headquarters and is a fluent Spanish speaker. She is dedicated to the cause of the galgos and has already been of great assistance in joining trustees visits to Spain and acting as translator in all the many communications between Carolyn and the Spanish refuges and vets we deal with.

We welcome Christine as a new trustee, who will be able greatly to assist with and improve our contacts with Spain
