Carlos,  a greyhound from the Rome track, died earlier this year, he was 13 years old.    He had been homed in Germany, with the help of Ellen    Poppendick, to Paula Fischer and her family.         19 For Tina – our Little Darling one How quiet our life has now become Its sad and still……….. and then some Your gentle presence has gone for now Your little paw held up no more How empty has our home become No more yoghurt pots licked clean No Bonio crumbs show where you’ve just been No charging round and round and round Treat in mouth and off you bound How empty has our life become No more excited squealing to get that fox No walks, sniffing trees, nettles and docks No more trudging in the pouring rain No rubbing you dry to your great disdain How quiet has our home become But now at last theres no more pain No more bandages, discomfort and strain Your suffering is at last no more No longer can we shake your little paw So sad has our life become Now at peace, at home again No more cries and no more pain No more flies and bangs to alarm Its peaceful here, its dry and warm Here for now lie still and calm For a short while And we, in time, re-learn to smile When our time comes, our darling one We want you with us when life is done Please wait for us and cry no more Our house now full of hope for sure For joining you in the world on high Shear love and joy will make us cry Tina, oh how we loved you so This is just to let you know Happy in heaven we want you to be Until the day we again be three                        Diana and Colin Milner-Walker We sadly had to have Mord put to sleep earlier this year.  He was     diagnosed with congestive heart failure & had a huge tumour growing in his spleen which had spread to his lungs.  Since getting Mord from GIN as a 3 year old, he had a very happy 7 years with us and fully experi- enced life living in the lap of luxury with our other three dogs Mord was so traumatised and frightened when he arrived with us that it took many years for him to feel totally         confident in surroundings Mord completely stole our hearts, he was such a special boy and was loved by everyone that met him.     Canny Hart (was Judge)
