Dear Friends of GIN,      It is hard to believe that we are coming to the end of     another year and as ever we have much to tell you of our work over the last six months. I would like to thank all of you for your nice comments about the new format of our newsletter, the saving for us on the     postage costs with this A5 size are considerable and it is nice that this   has the approval of our supporters.     In this newsletter we have put the Merchandise Catalogue in the centre and hope you like the new items we have included. We know that a few people were asked to pay postage on the last   newsletter and we apologise for this.  The postage was correct but for some reason a few envelopes seem to have been stamped “insufficient postage” and people have been asked to pay.  We have received an   apology from the Royal Mail but would like to know please if this   happened to you or indeed if it should happen again with this newsletter. Thank you also to supporters who responded so generously to our   mention in the last newsletter about donations towards veterinary costs in Spain.   More news of our work follows but we, and those we work closely with in Spain, are very grateful for all the donations we receive, whether financial or material, without which we could not continue our work for the greyhounds and galgos. I’d like to say a special thank you here to Lynne and Geraldine who help me in the office, there is never a dull moment, we are always busy and the days go so quickly.  We often have people popping in to see us     bringing donations and coats for the dogs in Spain and of course a treat or two for Lurchy !                                         Carolyn     4   Lurchy
