21 I have been doing the homing of the Galgos for more than five years and I still continue to get feedback about many of the dogs right from the first group I homed which is really good for my morale. I love to hear how the dogs are getting on and especially if the news includes a photo or two. What is  even  better though is  when  people  either  come  back  for  another Galgo to replace one they have sadly lost or come back for a second one be- cause the first one is such a delight to them. This time we had Jan from Norfolk back  for  Fortuna  (now being called Blaise)  as  a friend for Shakir (was  Diana).  Jan  was  accompanied  by  Yvonne  with Arfa who she has  had since late 2003. We were lucky to have visitors to the Release Day again. People who already own Galgos just wanted to come along, show off their dogs and share in the excitement of others as they took their dogs on to their new lives. It was lovely to see Dawn and John with Rafi and Hobbs who have both progressed so well. I was also very pleased to see Elsa and John Waywell with the lovely Inca . Thank you to all those who took the time and trouble to come along including Carol and Sue from Cheshire.   Although  the  day  started  a  bit  grey  with  fog  the  sun  did  come  out          eventually and it is my guess that had something to do with Galgos “coming out”. Please  keep  looking  at  our  website  where  there  will  be  more  photos  of      release day.                                                                      PAT Visitors Group shot
