Transportations Update

Many more galgos and greyhounds have been helped and transported to homes since our last transport report in June.

Sole, Mateo and the team at Arca de Noe in Albacete have again been busy preparing 53 galgos for homing in Italy by Elisa and her team at the Greyhound Adopt Centre, Italy (GACI). Fadrik, Bubble, Farol, Concho and Atena, from ADANA in Badajoz, joined them on the transport. You can see the lovely videos of their arrival here.

Elisa and her team have also been busy finding homes for 54 greyhounds – please have a look at the lovely videos of their arrival here -

Sole and the team have also been able to prepare more galgos for homing in Slovenia, by Nina and her team at SASIN. Nina mentioned the other day to me that she is already planning her next trip in 2020!

Catherine Madry of Levriers en Detresse in France has been busy homing galgos and also homing ex-racing greyhounds from the UK – Dave, Jill, Lady, Ronald, Brian, Star and Tuna were the last to travel.

Therese of Asociación Levriers Martyr has been homing galgos this year and just needs a home now for Perdio.

We are pleased that as well as the above we have again this year been able to fund veterinary costs for some galgos rescued by Tina of Galgos del Sol, Vera of Galgos en Familia, Margaret of APA Santa Clara, Claudette of APAPA, Ayamonte, Mada of RECAL, Almendralejo and Charlotte of 112carlotagalgos in Málaga.

We are now also working with Anna and Albert of SOS Galgos, Barcelona and have been able to fund some boarding and transport costs for galgos they have helped.

Without the wonderful support that we receive from our supporters we would not be able to do this work so a very big THANK YOU from all of us for making this possible.

Best wishes to everyone for a Happy Christmas
